We were discussing a one stop news site for the TSA in another thread. In response to this I have created a Q and D site just for that.

The only problem with the script is the free version does not email the admin to approve links. So if you submit a link it will take a bit before I approve it.
Sorry guys my little piggy bank is pretty broke at the moment.
Also for some reason it does not like URLs with commas.

Now all we need is a sticky of your post here so that we all know where to post our stories...

URL + short synopsis?
Hit "submit a link".
I set the character count at 800 so that should give us enough to copy from the story without taking the whole story.

Trollkiller, thank you so much for taking the time to do this.
How much $ is full access? We could take up a collection.

TK -- Your site sounds a lot like the Early Bird. The DoD Public Affairs Office used to publish a daily compilation of defense-related news articles which would be sitting in racks throughout the Pentagon early in the morning (hence, the name). The DoD even obtained permission from the newspapera to publish their articles before they appeared in the newspaper. The caveat was that the EB could only be distributed at the Pentagon. My office was very close to the DoD Public Affairs office, so I always grabbed my copy on the way into my office in the morning. Believe me, the EB is legendary among those of us who have had Pentagon assignments.
Alas, it's only available on line these days: Early Bird (http://www.govexec.com/dailyfed/ebird.htm).
Consider yourself among the legends and doing the work of an entire staff!

For the pro software without the branding it is $30, with branding $20.

 Now if I can just figure out how to post a link to this at PV every time someone uses the phrase "a few bad apples"!
(And I initially mis-read the thread title as "TSA news aggravation site" but I guess that's probably true too. :D)

I downloaded a copy of free version myself and will see what it takes to add email notifications. Simply sending an email should be trivial. A fancier interface (à la Blogspot) that allows you to accept/reject post from email would take a bit more work.

I'd be happy to contribute. Just tell me how and where! It would save all of us a lot of time.

I appreciate the generosity. I had someone that sounded like they would purchase the software so I will give it a couple of days. Normally it would not be a big deal but I had extra expense on the last check and on this check I have to go to the Bud Shootout as the tickets were a gift.
I am taking my son, so if we can get out spending just $100 on food and drinks, I will be surprised.
Of course my tax return should show up just days after I need (want) the money. That may be a blessing in disguise, turn me loose with "found" money and I will end up dressed head to toe in NASCAR.
