US Airways Dividend Miles - Credit Card questions

Did anyone else out there who is still using the old US Airways Bank of America Visa get your 10,000 preferred miles credit this year? I did not. Any thoughts about what is the best credit card to have for earning US miles? Barclay's mastercard? AmEx? Something else? Thanks,
Kim

I still have the B of A Visa and hit $25K in spending in October 2009 for the calendar year and got the 10K miles credited within a few weeks. Don't know about any other options, I was happy to stay with B of A given the horror stories on Barclays I've read here at FT.

+1. I'm going to stick with my BOA card as long as possible. Though, it expires in July so I'm hopeful that they'll send me another one but I'm not holding my breath. :(

B of A vs. Barclay's - that's kinda like asking "would you rather be eaten by piranhas or starved to death" - neither is good it just depends your preference. I have both and would say that, on average, B of A is slightly less likely to make me throw things... but only slightly.
The real advantage to Barclay's is the 5,000 mile reduction in the price of award tickets once you've reached $25K spending (it gets you 12 months of mile reduction.)

my BOA card has an expiration date in 2012.
Will this card still provide the same US Airways related benefits that it has in previous years?

I think the 5,000 mile reduction is an automatic benefit just for being a card holder. The spending benefit is a reduction/elimination of fees. Please correct me if I am wrong.

For 2009, I received the 10k Preferred miles after $25k in spending early in the year, and then an additional 10k Preferred miles when I hit 50k in spending in November (apparently a targeted promotion) on my BOA VISA last year.
2010 is just under way, I'll likely hit $25k in March or so. We'll see what posts, but as far as I know the 10K preferred benefit has not been taken away.

Thanks for your responses. Sounds like I should stick with BoA for now, but I need to figure out why my miles didn't post.
