Can we please PM more than 5 users, especially mods?

EXAMPLE: the Delta forum has 6 moderators, and I can't PM all of them.

I know that as a subscriber to InsideFlyer I get an expanded PM box, what about adding the ability to PM 10 members as part of that?

Likely not and it's not because we don't want to. The reason has everything to do with thwarting the expansive measures of spammers on FlyerTalk. It used to be just mechanical scrapers, but nowadays, they employee physical trolls and we work around the clock to protect you as best we can. Opening that up will expand their ability to spam to a wider audience at a single time. We hate having to manage FlyerTalk with these things in mind, but as I recently noted in another thread, our 80 volunteers were involved with over 90,000 actions last year, most of them related to cleaning up spam which most members never see.

Note any RBP gets sent to all the relevant mods.

Oh, and if you were going to write all 6 of them to tell them they are doing a fabulous job, all you really need to do is let one know and word will get around!! Just making someone smile.

FWIW, I think the DL ones do a very good job. But if they responded to PM's, RBP's and notified us when threads/posts were deleted/hidden then I'd say they do a super great job. @:-)
