First time flying Midwest, and after booking a ticket last night, I realized I needed to make a change to the itinerary. Does Midwest offer anything similar to Delta,United, and Continental where you have 24 hours to cancel or change your ticket without penalty?

Midwest allows a customer to place a 24 hour courtesy hold, without penalty.
I would try to contact them by phone ASAP, and place your request; otherwise, a $100 change fee normally applies, with your ticket to be used within one year.
