Hi all,
Headed to the Fairmont Mayakoba early February with Mrs. PC and infant (2yo) PC. Would like advice/recommendations for private transfer in a good vehicle (eg. Suburban or Explorer, etc.) for a good price and obviously great and safe service. Infant seat mandatory. Fairmont quoting $210 RT contracted by another company (destination management company, Maritur). Anything cheaper and better than that?
All thoughts appreciated!

Are you talking $210US or $210 pesos? In Mexico the $ sign is used to indicate local currency. The former seems outrageously expensive. However, the latter looks to be a bargain, given that your hotel is some 70km from CUN. Cancun Express quote $92US r/t.

USD210 - been looking at some websites of some of these companies and the rough amount between USD190-210 is popping up more than I'd like to.
So is Cancun express safe, clean, nice in regard to vehicles and friendly?

Hello from Detroit....
Try USA transfers. Or Cancun Valet. The price your quoting sounds way too high. Both of these above companies are very good and have been in business for years. I've used both. They'll run you by Wal-mart's or Sam's Club if you'd like as well.
BTW 92.00 RT is a very good price.

We used AGI Tours and paid 80 USD from CUN to the Sandoz Playacar for a 12 passenger van. Courteous, on time, of course air conditioned, with bottled water and soft drinks on the house. Contact Sarai or Javier at
