Anyone ever stay at Ramada West Hollywood. If so can you offer perspective on quality of hotel including rooms, cleanliness and fitness facilities. Insight into suites also appreciated.

Thanks!

I didn't use the fitness stuff. Room was fine. Nothing great but nothing to complain about. IMHO not worth the price paid even with AAA rate. You are paying for the location. If you don't have a car it is quite convenient for pedestrian tourism. If you have a car I suggest perhaps the Holiday Inn at Universal City. GREAT value. From the outside not so spectacular. But the rooms were recently updated and quite luxurious and spacious. The AAA price was 2/3 of the Ramada and room was 10x better. The staff had no opportunity to either shine or fail. I checked in and then had no more interaction with anyone until check out.

However if location is of the utmost importance the Ramada is not a bad choice. BTW, parking is extra. I did not feel 100% safe walking around the area around the Ramada at night. There seemed to be a lot of pedestrians that appeared to be looking for trouble. Maybe I misinterpreted.

Side note: check out the fast food chicken place across the street, Koo Koo Roo. Very good skinless chicken, lots of veggie choices, healthy alternative to typical fast food fare.
