Hello, this is my first post

Where is there a customs office for outbound international passenger out of Detroit Metro's North Terminal? I have to drop off a FINCEN105 form but do not see the map of north terminal from Detroit metro's website as listing a customs office anywhere for the North Terminal, nor do i remember every seeing a customs office there.

Does it sound like I'll have to run around, possible to a different terminal building, trying to find a customs agent so that i'm legal with the paperwork, or can I hand it to the airline check in agent so she can pass it off later?

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

I am not entirely certain, but I would recommend you enter the North Terminal near the baggage claim area. If I remember correctly, the CBP offices are very close to where the passengers exit. Worst case, you could find the same area at the more-established McNamara terminal. Good luck!

The publicly accessible CBP office in McNamara Terminal is on the lower level by international arrivals, one floor down from domestic baggage claim. I don't know if they have another office in the North Terminal, but if so it should be in a similar location.

In the north terminal the CBP office is located right next to the south esculators leading down to baggage claim. There is a big Global entry outside of the office.
