Orlando - Deals in Orlando, FL
Hey Guys,
New to the site and from what I've seen it's a close band of folks here.
I'm going to be in Orlando for 3 days Feb 5-7. Looking for a good deal. It looks like a just missed a few. I usually go to Marriott for work but I'm not dedicated to any hotel. Any deals you can suggest would be great. The best one I've seen so far is 25% off Marriott for $101/night. I'd like to be a lot less then that if at all possible. Thanks for any help.

is a good place to start your time on this forum which is really more about posting deals discovered than soliciting deals. Enjoy FT. :)
yes, sorry I wasn't totally clear on that.

pyam, welcome to FlyerTalk!
For your dates, I am finding decent deals on www.marriott.com at the Fairfield Inn Universal ($84/nt), Courtyard International Drive ($69) and Fairfield Inn SeaWorld ($69). These are advance purchase rates and you will be charged within days of reserving, so only use these if you are certain that you will need the rooms. They are Marriott properties and will get you points on your Marriott account.
The best deal I found is an M11 rate for Marriott rewards members (no status needed) of $88 at the Grande Vista. This does not require any payment in advance and is an exceptional rate for this property. Enter code M11 on the reservation where it says Corporate/Promotional Code. This will work as long as you have a Marriott rewards # entered.
If you have AAA membership you can get the $69 rate at the Fairfield SeaWorld and not have to pay in advance. I've found that the AAA membership can pay for itself in one or two hotel stays if you use the discount.
There are also decent rates at the airport hotels.
Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for your post, I'll check it out
