Midwest - question for those who have seen thwe North Terminal at DTW

Why is there an International arrivals there uif customs is in macnamara? Also how do they get from there to the international arrivals tunnel which exits by baggage claim?

Does the 'surge' in your name refer to the surge in your post count?!

The north terminal has their own immigration and customs services for non Skyteam airlines. Lufthansa, Royal Jordanian, Air Canada, BA, etc.

Most likely people on these flights will be connecting to UA, AA, US, etc. partners that are also based at North.
