When connecting in ATL from one domestic flight to another domestic flight (in my case BUF-ATL to ATL-FLL) can one stay in the "security clear zone" (that is not to go through security one more time in ATL once I have already cleared security in BUF)??? Apparently the connection will take place in terminal "N", don't know what concourse. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Connecting in ATL is easy. "Terminal N" just refers to the pre-security side of the airport and is relatively meaningless.
ATL has 6 concourses post-security, in order they are T, A, B, C, D, and E. Connecting is easy - following the signs to your connecting gate, and they will lead you to the underground people mover which is fast and reliable. If you feel like walking, you can also walk to the next terminal (moving sidewalks are also available). Terminal maps are also available: http://atlanta-airport.com/Passenger/Terminal/

take the underground tram to the different concourse if you have to switch. there's a good amount of distance between each.
