I am flying into CDG on Monday. any suggestions about how to get into towm with the bad weather and strikes

Depends on which parties are striking. The RER train is a great way to get into the city, unless of course they're the ones on strike.

RER B is not expected to be on strike on Monday, so it should be OK.

Road transport should be adversely impacted by the poor weather and positively by the fact that the Christmas holidays departures rush has already taken place this week-end, so traffic should be substantially reduced.

My advice would be to check the RATP website before you leave for the latest strike info (www.ratp.fr). If the RER B is on strike, there are always the Air France buses.
