Anyone have some good experiences and/or tips on how to get on the good side of the staff at BOS?
I finally made president's circle this year with about 10 of my rentals at the Boston airport and have never been able to walk off the flight see my name on the board and get a car that has a working XM radio in BOS.
Tonight my flight got in 30 minutes early and my name wasn't up on the board. I had to wait at the counter and they indicated that I put in the wrong time in my reservation, but alas when i look at the reservation online I actually had the flight number and correct time for when the flight was supposed to arrive. What is the point of putting in my flight info if the car isn't ready. Other times, i arrive 30 minutes late my car usually isn't there either. I feel like it is a game of trying to make it to Hertz within 30 minutes of my reservation. A game at which I am not very good apparently ;-)
Kicker is that every time i ask for an XM radio, get charged for an XM radio but the XM radio is never activated.
Interestingly, I only have these problems (and consistently) at BOS. Either I really pissed off the staff or the cutbacks have really hurt the service.
