ATL opened their off site consolidated car rental facility on Dec 8th.
Heads up, can add 15min-30 min for car rental returns.
for returns:
1-The facility takes about 5-10 more minutes to get to on return.
2-A least a 5 min walk to the train station from car drop off.
3-Sign says trains runs every 2 minutes, I had to wait over 10 minutes on Thursday, for 2nd train, as first one was full.
4-The train lets u off at the end of the Terminal next to Marta. This is also a 5 min longer walk then when the bus droped you off.
I have not picked up yet with the new process, but my guess is it as a least 15 min longer. If you have lot's of luggage, good luck.
