Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles (Pre-Alignment) - Midwest Expanding Codeshare with Frontier

Midwest Airlines is expanding its existing codeshare program with Frontier Airlines to include every city on both the Midwest and Frontier route networks. With expansion, travelers will soon have the ability to book their flights on a single ticket to 63 total Midwest and Frontier destinations.

Pretty impressive coverage coast-to-coast.

Likely in support of the increased connectivity on both ends, a few changes to MKE-DEN

(a) E170's upgraded to E190's

(b) Retimed flights to offer somewhat better coverage through the day. Today two westbound flights operate 1:10 apart, and two eastbound flights operated only 0:35 apart. The new schedule is generally more spread apart.

(c) First DEN-MKE flight moved to 6:40am from 9:30am, so AirTran's 8:00am DEN-MKE is no longer the first flight of the day

(d) More connections at MKE to places like Philadelphia, Cleveland and New York. Some additional connections to Denver's banks, too.

The map shows nonstop flights between SFO and MKE but there are currently none in the schedule. Anyone know if this is planned for the future?

I believe it's seasonal on Midwest during the spring/summer only.

AirTran is offering a single daily non-stop MKE-SFO on a year-round basis (currently at least). You can earn mileage credit on either AirTran on Frontier by taking that flight.

Yes, you're right. I stand corrected. It was seasonal when the "old" Midwest operated it with the MD-80s. I need to get with the times :)
