As it should have been - there were no "Branded Operations" in 2008. A better comparison would be 2009 "Fixed Fee" to 2008 "Total."
The same happened with the HP/US merger in 2005. Since HP was considered the acquiring carrier for the first year after the merger the combined airline was compared to HP only in the previous year. Obviously traffic, capacity, revenue, etc saw a big increase in the year over year comparisons during that 1st year.
