Stayed one night with family.
Check-in: No issues. No lines. I booked two paid rooms ($85/night). No upgrades, but was offered 2 connecting rooms. I was offered 3 free drink coupons to be used in the hotel restaurant/lounge. (There were 5 of us staying at the hotel.)
Room: The rooms had nice new widescreen TVs. The room size was a normal size, but the hotel only has double beds rather than queens for their 2 bed-rooms.
Property: This hotel does not have a Club Lounge. After asking about the possibility of breakfast, the check-in agent offered 5 free full breakfast coupons. (One for each person in my party.) ^ Note that this hotel does not have a breakfast buffet and the breakfast menu is somewhat limited. But overall, what they did have was pretty good. The hotel does have a single Chevy Suburban truck that they will drive or pick you up in. Unfortunately, it only seats a max of 7 people, so we had to wait 15-20 minutes both to get out to dinner and return.
Pool: There is a pool, which is nice for a downtown hotel. But it is outside and given the time of year, closed right now.
Parking: The normal charge for parking was $10/night, but as a PC Plat they only charged $5 instead. The parking area was well lighted and you walk in directly into the front desk area.
Overall: If you want to stay downtown, the hotel has easy and quick access to I-40 plus it is very close to the Memphis Pyramid. It is about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile from Beale street though.
