to requalify - am uk based so lhr or man are best for me. Any suggestions on routes/costs/etc to get 3.5k total EQM please?

Not sure why this was posted in the bmi forum, but here's my suggestion.
MAN-ZRH-IST and back on LX is ~3448 miles and can be had for about 150 pounds, with good connections (but you'd have to spend a night at IST - not that there's anything bad with that :)). The good thing is all fare classes on LX earn 1x on UA.
If you need more than 3448, you can try with a double connection at GVA.

sounds like good advice-thanks.
posted in bmi forum as a uk based flyer, using UA to get the miles involves a relatively pricey trip to Washington as a minimum so bmi a better option but know very little about them (now theyve took the mme flight away - bar-stewards)...
PS any suggestions on best place to book said trip?
Off to check who LX are now...
