Just found this on Aeroflot.com: New York - Berlin for 272 ai round trip. Sample dates are Feb 12th 2010 to Berlin, coming back on Feb 21st. Aeroflot is Skyteam (Delta etc.)

Man, I was hoping to get a flight in Dec. I need some gluhwein, but they are sold out.

Berlin now available for that crazy fare for any day in Feb and many days in Jan and also next month, Dec.

How to search:

(1) choose¨"non flexible" on their search page
(2) choose "any time" of the day...

I flew on Aeroflot - Moscow to St. Petersberg. Had bought the ticket on Aeroflot's site. Carefully made sure my NW number was on the ticket.

NW now tells me it isn't eligible for SkyTeam miles unless it was purchased on the NW site as a "NW coded ticket".

If you are looking at this NYC to Berlin ticket to get NW (Delta) miles, do make sure ahead of purchase that things are going to work out right for you.

Aeroflot deals seem to be gone. Airfarewatchdog.com also found one to Cairo in the 300s, I think. They put in on Twitter.

Yeah I think they messed up on that. The $367 is just the taxes. With the $160 fare it's $527 ai r/t. Still not a bad deal.

JFK-CAI still available for $368 a/i in February. I think LAX is about the same price as well.

Why would you waste your time transiting SVO to get to Berlin? Unless of course you already have a Visa for Russia or travel on a Russian passport.

first of all $368 is just the taxes. their website is quite confusing as most people (including myself) at first glance will see fare information and mistakenly think that it's the AI fare...but it's really not.

Thanks for sharing the sale and specific fares. Hopefully FTers were able to book or find the fares before they were gone.

Since this fare seems to be gone and the thread pretty dead, I've moved it to MR Discussion.
