Thrifty - Thrifty South Africa

I've got a 15 day rental reserved from Thrifty South Africa picking up in PLZ and dropping in CPT. Wondering if anybody has had any experience or advice.

Have you gone yet? If so, how did it work out? We had quite a bad experience with Thrifty SA, which I outlined in another thread. They also closed before we got there, and we had to pay $250 for a hotel.

All worked out without any major problems. The car (Nissan Livina) was in theory an "upgrade" for which I paid R50/day, but it did have a larger trunk that came in handy. Drove 2100 kms. Beautiful country!
