I got an email invitation to join the Expedia Travel Council.

We'd like to invite you to join the Expedia® Traveler Council, an exclusive team of travelers who have the potential to influence how Expedia does business. As the leader in online travel, we know that listening to our customers is important--and we'd like to hear from you.

As a member of the Council, you'll participate in short surveys about Expedia and a variety of other travel topics. While not all of the surveys involve a reward, many often do--including this first survey!

So what do you all think? Anyone a member of the Council? Worth giving my two cents?

Got this email as well yesterday, assume it's just "we send you surveys and give you useless entry into a sweepstakes for coach tickets" -- still I answered the survey questions -- which were about how much Thanksgiving through New Years leisure travel I'd be doing -- because I was curious.

same here. They say that not all get rewards, but this first survey gives a reward. Cool! What's the reward? We'll give you one entry into our sweepstakes. uh... okay...

They just asked about Thanksgiving to Christmas travel plans.
