Found on Kayak or CO.com. I've only been able to find this in the first 2-3 weeks of December. Example 12/12 SFO-ORD-DEN, 12/13 DEN-ORD-SFO.

Only thing is you hafta spend a night in DEN, but if you're SPG Plat with carry over stays for '10... =P

So here's my question, do you get UA DEQM if you buy a CO flight that's codeshared to UA metal? If so, that's a little over 10k UA EQM...

Yes if registered you would get DEQM

Just to add another confirmation: YES, you would qualify for DEQM even if they are CO flight numbers. As long as they are operated by UA!

Kainalu, how did you get the ORD segment? I've been on CO and United and they are only showing stops to Salt Lake City, Boise, or Lax. Did you use the multi-city option or did you use ITA to get the extra segment to ORD? I have a friend I need to visit out in Denver and figure this would be a nice opportunity to do an MR in the same trip. Thanks for the info.

edit: Ok, I see this is discussed extensively in the main DEQM thread. The trouble is that I don't sense consensus, and those that have gotten DEQM on code share UA metal flights seem happy to have gotten the bonus - not necessarily entitled.

I was close to booking this, but the following from the Terms of the DEQM promotion gave me pause:

*Offer valid on flights operated by United and United Express. Offer not valid on United-marketed code-share flights operated by other carriers or on Star Alliance® flights.

I called MP Customer Service and the rep was adamant that to qualify for DEQM flights must be both booked and flown with United. I questioned further and he confirmed with his second-level.

I don't usually have any reason to doubt MatthewLAX and other UA experts, but I'm hesitant to book a status MR on Continental if I'll ultimately come up short when my DEQM don't post.

Just to add another confirmation: YES, you would qualify for DEQM even if they are CO flight numbers. As long as they are operated by UA!

I'm thinking of doing PDX-ORD-DEN and it's $10 LESS than the SFO route :) DEQS promotion doesn't matter since it will be in January, but I wonder...does this qualify as a 2 e500 point-to-point upgrade if both segments clear ahead of time?
