Hi everyone,

I used to be a gold member of MPO a while ago and have forgotten how things work since I shifted to *A. I just requalified for silver, but was told that my qualification balance would be reset to 0.

OK with that, but does that mean that I now need an extra 60000 to qualify for gold? Does that then mean that I need not 60000 but 90000 a year to reach gold?

Strange...

If anyone can clarify, I would be most grateful.

Cheerios.

Yes

CX resets your membership year when you move to Silver. You have another year for the next 60K to reach Gold.

But to be clear, you only need 60K each year to renew Gold.

Okay, so the first year is the rough one then. OK, I may stick to CX then, as I have more flights to London and Sydney planned on QF and BA.

Okie, cheerios!

Just to avoid confusion, it does not require 90K in the first year. After moving to Silver, you have another year to reach Gold.
