We are flying on LAN from MIA to LIM next month. I'd like to go to the Lounge before the flight. Where is the nearest Lounge to the LAN Gates at MIA?

MikeyZBT Nov 7, 09, 1:02 pm this lounge is not airside, so you have to consider that the queues at the security control could be very long and you should not stay in the lounge until the last minute. So, in other words, is there no VIP Lounge airside for those traveling on LAN from Miami??!! I'd be shocked... If so, don't you think this is a major oversight on LAN's part considering the large amount of traffic they get from MIA? CVCONDE Nov 11, 09, 8:17 am First of all, the E Club America is not the one that LAN uses. In fact it is a good 15 minute walk from LANs ticket counters in the new South Terminal (H/J). LAN uses the J Club America, but indeed it is lanside. http://clubamerica.us/clubamerica_j.html As far as why there is not a LAN lounge airside, it is because the H terminal is only LANs home temporarily. They were forced out of A due to construction, but will move back (along with all the OneWorld airlines), once the North Terminal is complete (it will not longer be called A). There is an Admiral's Club and BA Lounge already in A that LAN paxs can use. jfkeze Nov 11, 09, 3:04 pm followup question... in May I'm flying Lan Peru from NYC connecting via MIA... AA to MIA then LA to LIM... how much time do I need for the connection? I was thinking of staying at the FL in the AA terminal as long as I can... so how much time should the connection take? It's a MR so I'll only carry my backpack... CVCONDE Nov 11, 09, 3:20 pm From E to H (Lan's current Concourse), should not take more than 10 minutes. Since you are arriving from NYC on AA, you will be able to go to the FL without going through security. You will have to go through security at J, but there is usually no line at that time of night. jfkeze Nov 11, 09, 3:45 pm thanks... I'll just relax at the FL :) phlashba Nov 12, 09, 4:58 pm First of all, the E Club America is not the one that LAN uses.
