I recently booked an Emirates ticket from India to Europe on Emirates on a US based website. When the tickets arrived via email, I noticed a two piece baggage allowance instead of the usual 30 kg baggage allowance.
The same two piece allowance was also referenced on the Emirates website, when I checked the reservation there and the same applied at check in, at the airport.
Interesting - that the Emirates system gave me the US styled two piece allowance for a flight that should instead have given me a 30 kg allowance.
Exploit this loophole while it lasts... if you book on a US based website, the Emirates guys are sure to be lurking on FT :)
