Hi all. I have noticed the past week that each day the prices are dropping for SFO-FLL for April and after. Before, they were all $264 for coach, and each day more and more are getting priced at $127. I bought my trip out to FLL in April for $127 each, just waiting now for the return trip to drop. It's interesting that they just don't drop them all that once - there's no rhyme or reason on the drops, i.e. it could be any day, such as Fridays or Sundays, which you would think would be busier.
Fri/Sun are always a hit and miss when it comes to drops, being both the busiest days of the week it can be a little frustrating. I find Sunday morning's good for cheaper availability but never on Fridays.
Although I was watching a B6 fare from JFK-SEA on a Friday late this month, in which was hanging around the $189 mark and then all of a sudden went down to $120.
Being that far out, I doubt that VX are going to sell the entire jet loaded with $264 fares, they bound to drop. There was a similar thread about VX price drops recently just here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/virgin-america-elevate/995133-why-price-hike-after-18th-november.html)
