bmi diamond club - Redemption Help Please?

Can someoen please check what flights have availabilty from Zurich to Edinburgh on 24th January using points please? They are trying to give me ZRH - FRA - BRU - EDI!

ZRH-FRA-EDI is available

ZRH-FRA 09:05 arr 10:10 LH J
or ZRH-FRA 09:55 arr 11:00 LH J
FRA-EDI 12:05 arr 13:00 on LH J

Availability in J for both legs on those flights. No need whatsoever to go via BRU. Only the one FRA-EDI flight on a Sunday though.

In polite terms - absolute cobblers. Most definitely a full 9 showing. Try another agent, or if that fails, Pre-Travel Support.

whats pre travel support? do you just ask for them when speaking to the ICC?

Pre Travel Support are based in UK, ring the main BMI switch board number and ask for them, they are the MIB (men in black, like in the movies) of BMI and sort out the more challenging issues faced by Pax, they are the next port of call for the wise, who are being troubled by booking or other angst.

They are, in my experience, worth their weight in gold, and have always sorted out issues that the ICC could/would not.

I am being driven mad by the ICC! They insist there are no seats on LX324, and advised I call Swiss to check. I duly did and they confirmed seats are available,but the way for the ICC to make the booking is to split the booking and book 2 single seats. Called ICC back and they have split the booking but still say they cant book the seats. I advised them to contact Swiss themselves,which they are now doing and I am on hold. :mad:

One thing for everyone to keep in mind is that you phone PTS AFTER making attempts with the ICC. They are the last resort, not the first point of call.

PTS is not the personal travel agent of bmi FT'ers. As said above and in other threads, it's the absolute last resort for sorting ICC screw ups. Nothing more, nothing less! Lets not try and break something that actually 'does what it says on the tin'.

After several (5 or 6) attempts with the ICC, I called PTS thsi morning. first time I was transferred through to the ICC and I got nowhere. I called them again and got a different chap from PTS and got absolutely fantastic service. Originally I was booked to fly on LX GRU - ZRH on 23/1/10 meaning I got into ZRH at 11:00 on 24/01/10. This was causing issues. He changed me to fly LH in F on 23rd to FRA and then from FRA to EDI. I even get home about 4 hours earlier that originally planned and I will get to experience both LX and LH F.

It was, they've just called me back as LH have refused to release the seats :( They are looking into it to try and get me the best possible option again and will call be back later today

Turns out LH threatened to cancel the whole trip if PTS didn't change the booking immediately and drop the LH flights. Reason was that I am booking miles plus cash. Now having difficulty getting my original LX flight from GRU back!
