Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Miles posted to Miles & More but UA*G listed on Boarding Pass

I have a Miles and More account that I stopped using many years ago. I took a flight FRA-IAH on LH (LH440 Oct 31) on a CO ticket. It was booked with a CO co-Share. Out of my 4 flights on this trip they all 3 others posted to UNITED, as that was the number I put on the reservation. But the LH operated flight posted to Miles and More. Is there a way to have this removed from the M&M account, so I can have it posted to UNITED. I called the Miles and More Service center and was told to fax in a request but they told me they do not have to do anything?!?!?! I faxed a letter in on Monday.. Today is Friday and nothing has happened. On the fax I included a copy of the boarding pass with the UA*G printed on it. If anyone knows a way to contact someone at Miles and More that can help out please let me know.

Forget about M&M. Send the BP to UA for retro claim (as if you had gotten no miles at all). You will most likely get miles for this leg in both M&M and UA :)

By the way, it takes several weeks for M&M to deal with a request for miles so no wonder that you have not heard anything in 4 days - be patient.
