American Express Membership Rewards - Centurion UK Membership Year 2010

So I'm about to get stung for the 1800 renewal or whatever ridiculous fee it is and made the call that I would give them 1 year at the wondrously new 'Refreshed' levels..

Since getting my bit of metal, that actually I have never used preferring to use the plastic one so I get it back in a machine, my refreshed benefits that I've got are Virgin and Sirus.. I think thats it..

What will really be a judge for me is what they do with it in the next 12 months.. if it retains the status quo then I think it highly unlikely I would remain into 2011

I am sure there will be lots of varying threads of what may or may not happen this year.. but I am interested in Richards meeting with the head of the card and any outcome to those chats that you had? Has any more come of it, do you expect to hear from him again?

Personally I am glad I have not been stung yet (still on the £650!). However, I think I will echo your comments. IF and when I get my Ti card, I will probably stick with it for a year....if nothing good happens, then I will downgrade I think.....

As for rumors, personally, I would like to see some of the following:

Airlines:
Possibly One World/Star Alliance Status
Possibly Status on a Middle Eastern Airline

Hotels:
InterContinental Royal Ambassador

If I get one of the above two in addition, I think that to me would justify the fee more.

Would need the revitalised card first! - but maybe I apply like new_flyer - and would get it.....

I wonder if BMI would have been willing to give status.....(that would cover star alliance....)
