Been wanting to try them out for a few yrs now, but either I didnt have my CO Plat completed or their fares were alot more $$$. This yr I finished UA 1k and CO Plat already

I flew a shorty JFK-BUF and both ways on the E-190, expecting the worst , that never materialized.

I kept saying to myself as I boarded the plane , I can stand ,I can stand, being 6'2' all too often most Carriers use a RJ or turbo-prop for such a routing which means I must bend my head down before entering the plane till I sit down. Not this trip^^. plus nice size overhead bins that holds a reg carry-on rollerboard.

CLEAN planes and very nice crews, no Wicked Witch of The West, like most other Carriers are full of.

At BUF my bag beat me to the carousel, Ok there were 5 or 6 only and a small airport w/o much traffic. Back to JFK today a full plane and many bags but still it came out just under 15 mins from landing, Not Bad ^^. sure beats CO where I can wait sometimes 30-60 mins on avg.

I think the Majors should order the E-190 and tell their cockpit crews what they can do with themselves if they dont like it!!

Will I be a Loyal B6 flyer, Unfortuantely No, simply cause I do alot of TATL and some TPAC and B6 doesnt. But if B6 has the others beat in price by a sizeable amount, I can see throwing them some more biz.

BTW great Term @ JFK ^^ they did a great job, only draw back is since they had to leave the old T-5 in place (TWA Intl) its a long hike from the AirTrain station to the Term

If UA ever gets rid of its E+ then I can see myself flying B6 alot more, but if a person has access to E+ on UA then its a toss up. But I cant see why anyone would w/o Status would fly anyone but B6, especially as the 1st bag is free!! Just 1 of the reasons I stay away from DL

Agreed again. The product really is pretty strong.

I think the Majors should order the E-190 and tell their cockpit crews what they can do with themselves if they dont like it!Definitely the best plane in its category today. It has all the advantages of a mainline jet (cabin height, real baggage compartments) without the disadvantage of middle seats.

By the way, I fly a lot of B6 even though they don't fly TAL (which I do a lot). The beauty of B6 is that you never need status to have a wonderful experience.

As much as I love them, though, in the spirit of fairness it should be noted that B6's baggage handling can be both very spotty and slow (especially at peak times at JFK).

Glad you like the aircraft . I will be happy when B6 goes to Sabre and they have interlining capability . That will help out on IRROPs and bring in more revenue to B6. The new Trueblue program is also a positive (even for occasional fliers ) .
