Will showing up three hours early affect a rental? Will they try to reprice? It's for a Friday morning pickup and will not affect the length of rental.

You should be okay. The only time when picking up early by three hours will change the rate is Thursday morning versus Thursday afternoon before the weekend rates become available. You should modify your reservation, though if you know you will be three hours early for availability purposes.

It shouldn't change the price unless it adds an extra day for return purposes.
I would let them know so they have a car available for you though.

If you get there three hours early, the main ramification is that your name probably won't be on the board. Other'n that, there shouldn't be any problem on a Friday AM rental. At most locations, you'd think that with all of the normal business rentals coming back in on Thursday evening they'd have pretty good car selection.

Hi guys,
I have a reservation at LAX for 12:15am next thursday, the 19th. My flight actually arrives at 9:30pm, and i was hoping to pick up early.
Do you think it'll be a problem? (I'm returning Monday at 8pm, so it won't effect the length of rental).
If i change the reservation to 9:30pm, it goes up by $100! :(

They may have extended a weekend rate to you since it begins on Thursday. Usually, they don't start until 12PM, though. If your rate code ends in an "E" then you will have to wait until your reservation time to use the rate. If it ends in something different then the counter may be able to do something for you.
