Qantas Frequent Flyer - QF10 Seating - Plane Type

Hey all,

1st post ever, sorry if in the wrong place, trying to work out what I need to post and where. :confused:

Question - Travelling on QF10 LHR-MEL Friday 6th November and all booking info says 747, but seating when checking in, seating went as far back as to row 86 (economy, I know, could not justify paying double £ for prem econ!!) but 747 does not go back that far, looked up on seat guru and can only find the Qantas Airways Airbus A380-800 (388) that goes to row 86.

Is anyone able to tell me if the plane type has changed from a 747 to A380?

Also, any advice for a nervous flyer?

Yes, the Qantas website shows the flight as being operated by the A380 on Nov 6th.
