US Airways Dividend Miles - Seat changed, not by me!

OK, this upcoming TA flight just keeps getting better and better. First the aircraft down grade. So, I gave the seatmap a gook lookover and changed my seat. That was last week.

I just looked again, and my seat has been changed! I was in a aisle with an empty window seat next to me near the back of the bus. Now I'm trapped in a window seat near the front.

The aircraft did not change again, there are plenty of other seats - why would I be moved???

I don't know if they are related but I was having similar issues on a domestic flight myself. I chose seats over two weeks ago, changed them around a few days ago. The changes seemed to save and was reconfirmed when I was checking a day later. When I get my upgrade notice today I went back in and noticed that the seats for me and my father have been all moved around. I went back in and tried to change them back to my preferred seats and went through the "save and close" motions. Low and behold when I looked again they changed yet again to some crazy random choices. I called the Chairman's Desk and was told something was going on. The rep told me that it wasn't allowing her to force change this. She put me on hold for a while and said that nobody was able to make changes to the seats. How strange! There was no equipment change for our itinerary but something weird is going on.

How bizarre. I just spoke with an agent who told me he has not paid attention in the past and has accidentally been able to seat people in seats that were already taken and the system accepted it. Shares strikes again?

On a side note, I hear Shares is STILL being modified DAILY. How amazing is that? I wonder how much they "saved" moving to Shares?

Who knows? I got a call from a lady at the Chairman's desk this morning saying that they still can't change to the seats I wanted... I guess the computer playing musical chairs is still happening. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this? She told me that if it doesn't get fixed that she'll call the airport directly day of flight - maybe that will help.
