Hertz - Prestige vehicles in DC

It still appears impossible to book a prestige vehicle in Washington DC. Does anybody know if it is possible to call hertz and have a vehicle made available from DCA or IAD? Is there a location close to DC from which to rent a prestige vehicle (DCA does not have them)? I have always thought that it is funny that you cannot rent from the prestige collection in our Nations capitol. I have a week long rental coming up and I would love to rent an Audi Q7 or something with a little more cache than a Towne Car.

They won't bring in a vehicle specifically for you, they may have a drop off that they can upsell you, but no guarantees.

Nobody has any ideas on this one. Do I have to drive to BWI to get out of the "hood" to rent a prestige vehicle? I thought airports were supposed to have the largest selections.

BWI only has the Infiniti M35 as Prestige the same as Washington.

Hertz obviously have little/no demand for Prestige out of Washington!

It is funny because Hertz IAD used to be the hub for their Jaguar fleet. Obviously those days are gone :)

One-ways with prestige vehicles are typically only allowed between locations authorized to have them. For instance, FLL to MIA is ok, FLL to EWR is ok, but FLL to nearby HLE may not be okay.
