Hilton HHonors - Reward Reservations And MyWay Choices

Usually I choose the upgrade when traveling but soon I will be at two HS and and two ES. I checked with the DD yesterday regarding if MyWay choices apply with reward travel. They said they do and if I choose the free internet at a ES I should get it. Have others gotten their MyWay choices on rewards.

Yes. Had an award stay at ES San Deigo. Chose points and got them.

We've always gotten our My Way choice--most often free internet at properties where that isn't standard-- on reward stays.

That said, always confirm what they have on file when you check in.

We were in Athens and the guy says extra points, I say no--free internet--he says I'm right. At check-out, the clerk tries to charge us E23/day for internet. I argue and he says we only had free internet in the business center (NO ONE ever said that at check in, so we did it thru the TV). After a lot of back & forth, we have him call the guy who checked us in, he admits he never told us about the business center, and the charge is dropped.

Recently, in NOLA, we had to have the $15/day internet charge removed at check-out.
