I wonder if these guys are talking with the BA guys who are talking strike action?

I really wonder about people.

If you don't like it then pack up and move to a different job. However sometimes industrial action is called for.

I am flying in 3 weeks.

Anyone know what dates the strike may happen on? Do they have to give a fortnight's notice or something, or will it happen pretty much straight away?

Flying out Sunday, back next Friday?

I'm flying soon too. Given QF's comments, sounds like they will employ other engineers, which would mean flights still depart, just with a delay. Isn't that what happened earlier this year?

"‘If industrial action is taken by the union Qantas has contingency plans in place, which will mean there will be no disruptions to travel or aircraft,’’ she said. ‘‘ We won’t be grounding aircraft.’’"
