Bmi - there's no point sending me offers every other week (latest just now is 10% off international C or PE fares) if you don't fly places I need!
BMI (or perhaps B Middle East airlines as some have suggested) dont fly to USA or far east/Asia. Agreed LH cover this and probably don't want to set up competition.
And even the main usage for me now, MAN-LHR shuttles, is getting unreliable (cancellations etc).
Sorry, this is heading for a rant.
Short version, route network, not prices are the barrier to me using BD. I'd guess I'm not alone.

No, you're not alone. Just received the same offer, and restricting it to places I would never fly to (Tel Aviv, Amman, Moscow, Cairo, Dammam, Kiev, Beirut, Aleppo, Baku, Jeddah, Riyadh, Tbilisi, Tehran, Addis Ababa) does nothing for me either! :( :td:

I also received this offer.
"We have a great discount, exclusively for you" it said.
It was not that exclusive then.

Unlike those above, I would be interested in the offer.
I received the email this morning, and might consider using it for TLV.

Just booked an outbound GLA-LHR-DME (Moscow) this afternoon. £1,440 directly with Bmi, £774 with ebookers - and that's far from untypical.
10% might be of interest but it wouldn't stop me comparing...
Assume they don't send it to me because I'm a regular to & from Moscow (or was, until the winter schedule made it impossible to get home).

I got this too. Again, useless for me.
I'd guess the 'exclusively for you' part might be if we've all got distinct discount codes? but I wouldn't bank on bmi's IT and marketing depts to be up to that kind of sophistication - or, for it to actually work seamlessly off the bat
Maybe they're one-off codes. Whether they actually tie in to your DC # is another thing entirely... that's my guess at the situation, anyway.

"exclusively for you" might be more like - you used to fly lots with us, now you're not anymore.
I wonder what proportion of recipients were BD*G last year, but BD*S this year and have built up *G (or OW/ST equivalents) on an alternative carrier this year?

Someone care to PM me a link to this please, or would that not work?
This would fit in very nicely with the Triple miles offer I got... :)

I never thought I'd see the day there'd be a thread moaning about actually receiving a promo!
