Last December I booked a flight for me and a friend to Vegas (both upgraded to FC using my MVPG status.) I had to cancel my portion of the flight, but my friend still went on the trip.

I just tried to use the credit, but the computer shows I boarded the plane and took the trip. It's very odd considering I would know if I went to Vegas.

I checked my account activity and I didn't receive credit for the flight. One last thing- I booked through our Easybiz site.

Just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem before. The service desk was great, but they had to refer me to "accounting" and gave me a phone number to call during normal business hours.

Many thanks,

John

Weird...

Was this with a companion cert...

Did the person remain in the F cabin?

Did you cancel your flight or just not show?

Yes thats very odd especially if its all just the way you described. For one thing I thought it wasnt possible and a national security risk for a plane to depart without the pax count matching the roster. If it says you flew but didnt actually then that means some boarding agents either cant count or didnt care. Ive been on many delays where pax count didnt match the manifests and we didnt move. One case 45 minutes delay looking for a missing pax and nobody could figure out who. Turned out to be a toddler where the parents actually bought a ticket but were holding the baby in their lap.

No worries by the fall of 2015 AS plans to add a feature to my wallet to keep track of credits

Good questions.

It was not a companion certificate, but the person did remain in FC. I think he used miles, but I'm not sure since I wasn't with him..?

I did not cancel the flight, I just didn't show.

I also check my cc statement and verified that it was refunded.

I'm going to call acounting next week and see what they have to say.

JohnSo if you verified that it was refunded that would explain why you dont have a credit
