Hyatt Gold Passport - UA points, bonuses and G3 validity and combinability questions on multiple rooms

I am booking 2 rooms under my name at HR Bethesda. The stay is for 3 nights for each room.

Instead of GP points, I want to earn UA miles. Can I just give them this number?

I am doing this because the rate is cheap (hyatt.com is $87/night).

Will I earn the 2500 United bonus miles after every 2nd night on one room or both?

Can I also get the G3 bonus if I choose airline miles? It says on the GP page Fri-Sun. Does this apply just to check in date as our stay is Fri-Mon? Would this bonus be for each room?

In other words for a Friday arrival Monday departure, would I earn the following...

-500 UA points per room
-2500 UA points per room based on the 2,500 miles on every 2nd night
-1500 G3 Gold Passport points on each room even when choosing miles

Thanks!

You only get a stay credit for 1 room but "points" for all rooms - so I would think that you would get 500 UA miles per room (in lieu of points but could be only 500 miles for 1 room) - 2,500 bonus miles (for 1 room period) - since you were choosing miles - you are not entitled to G3 bonus (which would have been only on one room only anyways - your stay covers at least 1 night of the applicable period so you would be entitled to it)

If you opt to earn 500 MP miles/stay, you have to show your MP membership card at check-in.
Miles will be awarded on only one Travel Partner program/stay where you pay an eligible rate, regardless of the number of rooms you personally pay for.
You may only receive bonus for one room (http://www.goldpassport.com/gp/en/aa/pop_tc.jsp;jsessionid=HW5YSVWOKQAXECTEAGGSFFQKMQAY YIV0?wt=pop_up&me02_mbr_src=09UA4), regardless of the number of rooms.
If you opt to earn miles, you surrender GX bonus as you must choose GP points for your stay and pay an eligible rate.

I have found it is hardly worth asking for miles on check-in or out as they only seem to post correctly as requested 10-15% of the time. That said, I quick email to customer support seems to rectify things pretty quickly.
