Swiss International Airlines - GVA-JFK on the new A333

Just got to know that in the end of Jan 2010 SWISS will start flying their new A333 on the GVA-JFK route.

Very great news for GVA residents.

Looking forward to see that beauty in YUL soon.

Are they allowing partner redemption awards on these flights? I have called for a flight in March, but they are unavailable. The A332's have availability in F on the dates I was looking.

If by "partner redemption awards" you mean the opportunity for members of other *A FFPs to redeem their miles for flights on the A333, then yes, LX does allow that - subject to normal capacity limitations. Now, if the FFP owner actually cares to make those seats available is another story (hello UA!)

Sept 2010 I am told*sigh* So we're about the last ones here in YUL to get rid of the old A332... :rolleyes:

Although as of late I have noticed the A343 making appearances on LX86/87. In fact, my next YUL-ZRH is currently listed to be operated by A343, keeping my fingers crossed.
