Greetings,
Let me start off, by saying that I am new to this forum, so I apologize if this post is in the wrong forum.
I am a new FO with Delta, and would like to attain gold status for next year.
Currently I am sitting at 27,625 MQM, with a 5,000 MQM trip to Chicago on the weekend of Dec 4-7.
I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to go about attaining the extra 17-18K miles that I need to attain gold status before the end of the year.
There are several stipulations that I have to adhere too, which are:
I can only fly out Friday nights or anytime Saturday or Sunday.
I need to return by Monday morning at 8 or 9am.
I would like to do this for as cheap as possible, preferably for under $1,000USD
I fly a mix of domestic and international. This year my main routes have been OAK-PDX, SFO-SYD, SFO-MAD, SFO-LAX, SFO-JFK, SFO-PHL
Does anyone have any ideas, based on fares that are out there right now?
If possible and similarly priced, I would prefer 1 or 2 long haul flights, as opposed to 5 or 6 shorter haul flights...
Thank you for any insight that you be be able to provide.
Francis
