What if one is planning to only stay at a Hyatt Resort with the DEL5K once, just for the 5k bonus points? Buying one of those certificates would be quite clever since you can eat & drink for $150 during your stay and only pay $50-60 for a certificate. That's a good deal.

Then you get your new certificate at checkout and you can resell that one if you wish.

DEL5k can be used multiple times. You will only get the 5k bonus points once, but you can get the $150 in food each time.

i stopped by the hyatt regency attached to the pit airport and they said they never heard of del5k. would that be a problem if they never heard of it? also, what exactly does it do, and does it ever expire? thanks
