Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - 4 hour layover - hotel or BC lounge?

Hello!

I and my wife are spending 4 hours (10:00 PM to 2:00 AM) between flights next month at Changi Aiport. Couple of questions for those more experienced than I:

1) Although these reward flights were booked as FC, and used FC mileage, the two SQ segments I am flying into and out of SIN are 2-class only aircraft, so I am technically flying in Business. (BKK-SIN, SIN-JNB) I am assuming I can only access the Buisness Class lounges, correct?

2) If my choice is between killing a few hours in a business class lounge, vs getting an in-airport hotel room, which would you choose? Keep in mind the flight from BKK-SIN is only 2 1/2 hours, so we won't be arriving after a very long flight.

3) What Buisiness Class lounge to you prefer best at Changi?

Thank you!

The Transit Hotel is more spartan than luxurious. The room I stayed in in September only had six TV channels and only one of those was in English (Channel News Asia) and it was crap. The bed was quite firm and there was no sofa for lounging. The bathroom was functional and clean but nothing more.

All that said, were I spending three hours in Changi with my beloved, I'd be tempted to pay for the hotel - purely for a little private space to call our own for a while. But if you'd rather eat or drink, then repair to the lounge as fast as you can.....

Edit: having re-read my comments, they seem a little harsh. I was very, very glad of the opportunity for a few hours sleep and the Transit Hotel (T3) did the job admirably. It's far from luxurious but it's fine for what it's intended for. Although I found the drawn curtains concealing a blank piece of wall a little unsettling..... If your body clock is already in South East Asia though, I'd stay awake, use the lounges, maybe the gym then sleep on the later flight - it'd surely be the best way of dealing with jet lag.
