I usually take LH C class between Europe and Asia (NRT/HKG/SIN), and want to know how LX flights are doing on those routes on C. Thanks for any input.

They don't do much to SIN :( . Other than that it's the oldish angled flat seating the few times I used it. If memory serves right, the LH seat is definitely to be preferred. SMK77 Nov 4, 09, 12:44 am C is a very clear win for LH - the seat is a lot better and you will definitely appreciate that when flying for more than 12 hours. LX has not rolled out their new C to Asia yet. For F, LX is my favourite but the difference is smaller than for C. Book LH for your trips! BobBHX Nov 4, 09, 3:26 am I regularly fly UK - BKK. I prefer LX on that route for the simple reason that there is no middle seat. The seat is marginally worse than the LH seat but I find the food and the service better on LX than on LH. If the route is served by an LH 340 or 330 then I would probably choose LH. weero Nov 4, 09, 9:09 pm I regularly fly UK - BKK. Just don't pick it @:-)! I would never voluntarily pick a middle seat. For an overnight flight I will always choose a centre section aisle seat. On LX in a D seat I don't disturb my neighbour and he/she doesn't disturb me. On LH if there is someone in the middle seat he/she will disturb either me or the person in the other aisle seat. |
