US Airways Dividend Miles - Is it possible to receive upgrade on reward flight because of DM Preferred?

Is it possible to get upgraded on US Airways reward flights because of Dividend Miles status (provided there are empty seats in first, of course)?

Possible? yes.

Supposed to happen? no.
