Other Credit Card Programs - TY points - How long to post?

I have been earning thank you points for some time now. I earn whenever I can shop thru the ty networks website which gives back several points per dollar at most of their stores.

Usually I have seen the points post within days, at most maybe a few weeks. This time however I bought a several thousand dollar item, and after 6 weeks I still don't see anything posting.

I know that the policy is officially up to 90 days, but this has never happened to me before. When I called they said that I have to wait the full 90 till they would make sure that the points post to my account.

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience, or if my case is indeed out of the ordinary. Thanks

I have had similar experiences in the past. Usually if they don't post within 8 weeks, they don't post at all, and I have to ask TYN investigate.

Thanks for the reply. It hasnt been 8 weeks yet either but from my experience these post within a week usually...same by you?

Some merchants (landsend, barnes and noble) have taken as long as 6-7 weeks to post. Many of the merchants I have used post within a week.

Just bought a couple of subscriptions to magazines and the points posted within a week.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Looks like I will have to stick it out for the 8 full weeks and then get them to look into it.
