Mr H Nov 3, 09, 2:59 pm Depends on the time of day - which 15 hours will you be there? meester69 Nov 3, 09, 6:16 pm I have a layover in Singapore that will last 15 hours. Any suggestions on how to spend the time ? Depends when you go, but dump your bags at the airport/check-them-through, and you could go shopping down-town, you could see any one of the attractions of Singapore if it's a day-time layover, get some local food, and then go back to the airport. If you haven't got the day, but have got the evening, then the Night Safari at the Zoo might appeal: it's open 7:30pm - midnight. There are several vibrant areas for strolling and dining in the evening, if that's what you're looking for, although nowhere except the nightclubs will be buzzing in the small hours. What connection is 15 hrs! kuwakku Nov 4, 09, 6:24 am What do you think about going to the Night Safari solo? I will be in Singapore for one night but wasn't sure since I will be by myself. meester69 Nov 4, 09, 8:52 am What do you think about going to the Night Safari solo? I will be in Singapore for one night but wasn't sure since I will be by myself. It's just a zoo, by night. Plenty of people go to the zoo by themselves. There are fast food joints there, not fine restaurants, so you shouldn't feel out of place eating there either. Albatross710 Nov 6, 09, 12:53 am 15 hrs can be a lot of fun in SIN. Certainly the Zoo sounds great. Restaurants and strolling around Clark Quay (http://www.clarkequay.com.sg/)would be nice. I was in SIN during the daylight hours last month and enjoyed a trip to the Marina Barrage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_Barrage). Probably more of a Sunday afternoon place to visit and mix with locals more than tourists. SEJack Nov 6, 09, 10:02 am Arriving from Calcutta at 630 am and departing to Frankfurt at 11pm. Thanks for the ideas so far. NetJets Germany Nov 6, 09, 10:32 am I have a layover in Singapore that will last 15 hours. Any suggestions on how to spend the time ?
