Having given up on SQ and gone to CX a year ago because of outrageous F class A380 premiums, I needed to fly SQ again this week so gave it a shot and was not impressed.
The old sloping bed out of AKL to SIN woken at 2hrs 45 out for breakfast, really guys! Then next a regional aircraft to India with shocking seats, broken IFE and a cabin crew who could care less about any of it. Magazines restricted even further in quantity and rationed like you were stealing a first born.
Its a shame to see. Also traveling on A J ticket no F class lounge access, even as a current PPS, no better off than *G economy SQ fare payer. What is the benefit of PPS?
I'm very glad I moved and was shocked (admittedly on a sample of just two flights) at the current SQ experience and very glad I moved.
