Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Seeking HKG-SFO C Cabin Experience

I'm thinking of taking SQ on my next trip to Asia. With the new business seating on the 77W, I would like opinions on:
1. 1-2-1 seating: my wife and I are flying. Although it's logical to pick the center 2-seater but it seems there isn't much storage space available vs. the window seat
2. meal frequency and midflight snack-is there a place near the galley set up in midflight like AF and BA?
3. availability of toletries kit
4. lounge facilities at HKG-any shower at the Silver Kris Lounge?
Thanks.

I've done the SFO-SIN return route 3 times in the past month. Last Friday was the SIN-HKG-SFO routing you are asking about. Here is my view on your questions:
1 - There is not really any extra storage at the window. There is a 2-3 inch gap there that tapers down about 3-4 inches so you may get a newspaper or light clothing in there, but not much else. There is a "storage rack" by the front that is quite large and can hold just about anything up to about a magazine widths wide, 15" long and 2-3" thick without going over the lip at the edge. You can pile more on if you like but it could slide forward and out. Bins overhead are on the window side so access from any seat is about the same. If you want to speak at all without getting up, go for the middle. Even doing two across the aisle can be hard as they are not all aligned.
2 - I think they call it Supper after takeoff (the SIN-HKG sector has the other which I think is Dinner). Then a mid-flight snack is available (noodles and such) and then breakfast 2-2.5 hours before landing. Not sure about the food bar as I choose to sleep sometimes even through breakfast which is at 6pm local time! I may have seen it before heading to the lav but can't 100% confirm.
3 - Never asked for the kit. I bring my own which of course are usually of higher quality and brands/types I am used to.
4 - The lounge is new and I have only been in once so far. Decent size and was very empty when I was there last. I do not know about the shower though. Didn't even look for the restroom so it could be there someplace.
Hope this helps.

3. There is no toiletries kit. Just socks/eyeshades and earplugs.

4. No shower in the new SKL HKG.
This is actually my favorite flight in the world, for reasons almost entirely personal to me. I haven't taken it in the new J, so can't add much else to what has already been posted. Look in the Trip Reports forum here or on www.sqtalk.com for, well, trip reports.

All long haul J snacks were placed at door L2 on 744 & 77W, & also placed towards near the stair case at the upper deck on 744.

Hi, my dad does this route quite frequently so I may help you.
1. If you sit in a bulkhead seat, on the window side, there will be some storage space. But for the others, there is just a little bit of space.
2. Yes there definitely is. As stocked as the 388!
3. On request
4. Yes there is, but you need to book it.
Happy flying!

Incorrect. SKL in HKG has no shower.
It has been pointed out by MegatopLover, please follow the link here (http://www.sqtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3480) starting at post #18.

I flew this route twice in last two months. The KF lounge in HKG has pretty good food and nice ambiance. However, no shower and no toilet IN the lounge. You have to walk out side to use the bathroom...which to me is rather silly for a lounge.
