bmi diamond club - Going to miss out on Gold because of non-posting
I flew 13 flights in June, should have taken me to around 40k EQM then.
I'm stuck at 23'000 since then due to these flights not posting.
Despite me sending all the retro-claims, invoices, boarding passes nothing has posted. Flights were on both bmi and swiss and in eligible fare classes.
My membership year ends in December.
I've been gold since 2005 and this will be the first year I'm demoted (and in fact injustly as I should be gold).
bmi might have a good frequent flyer programme, but what's the point if all the flights you take don't post and aren't manually added after either.
Anybody else in a similar case and what can I do?
You won't miss Gold. bmi will put things right for you.
Send an email to Joanna (see details in the forum sticky) at Diamond Club explaining what you have sent in and when they were sent in etc. It may take her a few days or even a week or two to get this sorted, but she will get this done for you.
I recently had miles not posting after I filled in the missing miles and sent in the paperwork....sent in 3 in one envelope and 2 posted and one didn't. I emailed and got a response (took a couple of weeks) to say "can see this flight pending on your account, this should have been approved and credited to your account" miles were there the next day

I have a colleague who is stuck on 37,000 miles. Her last 3 bmi fights have not posted, so she's not yet promoted to Gold, and is missing out on the lounge benefits. She'll also be missing out in the November promo, where the triple status miles on her flights would take her a long way towards requalification for gold in the new membership year.
It's an eternal mystery why DC fail to grasp that fixing their IT so that miles post promptly will save them countless hours of backroom admin.

I've had 3 sectors not post in the last 2 weeks. All on BMI flight numbers, ticketed by BMI, on BMI metal. Really frustrating as it's lots of extra effort to claim retrospectively when most of them seem to work OK. It's the inconsistency which gets me
It's not the Diamond Club systems that's the problem, or at least not the only problem. It seems BD has trouble remembering to order the miles. I've flown AC, SQ, UA, LX, LH, LO and all have posted to AC within days. The only missed credit has been on BD which has lost 3 out of the last 4 flights.
One return flight where I the FF was on both boarding passes and was entered from the original booking managed to credit one direction but not the other. I can't imagine how that could happen unless there's a human retyping all this stuff from one system to another somewhere.
What's worse is that AC has an online missing mileage request form which works with about a dozen *A carriers -- notably absent is BD :(
