Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) - Redeeming miles on Air One?

Hi everybody,

I've been looking to book an award flight on Alitalia. However, the flight in question is operated by Air One, Alitalia's sister company.

The flights do not show up in the booking system. Is that because they're full, or is AZ opb AP generally not bookable with AF miles?

Try ExpertFlyer... you may be able to see if there is award inventory on the flights that you want.

I have often wondered about AP and SkyTeam, but since AP uses MilleMiglia as a FF program, and since it has dropped its mileage agreements with UA and LH... eventually AP and AZ will become one (not just on paper) and I am assuming mileage earning and redeeming will be back for all SkyTeam partner programs. It may take a while (2-3 decades at the most)
